YouTube began its support for [[360 Video]] in March, 2015. Users can not only browse 360 Videos from their [[Chrome]] browsers but also from the YouTube app on their [[Android]] or [[iOS]] devices. Users can upload 360 Videos from various compatible [[360 Cameras]].
In early June 2015, 360 videos can be viewed from the [[Google Cardboard]]. The normally 2D 360 videos can now be transformed into an [[immersive]] [[VR]] experience. When viewing a YouTube video from the YouTube apps on your smartphone, you can tap the Google Cardboard Icon then insert the smartphone into a Google Cardboard device to activate VR mode.
