On July 26, 2015, YouTube announced the release of stereoscopic 3D, 360 degree videos "soon". Additionally, YouTube introduced 360 degree video ads. Bud Light became the first advertiser to run 360 Video ads on YouTube.
On November 5, 2015, YouTube release Stereoscopic 3D support for their 360 degree videos. They have made the videos "VR".
