[[PlayStation VR]], formerly known as '''Project Morpheus ''', is a [[Virtual Reality]] [[head-mounted display]] developed by [[Sony]]. Initially unveiled in GDC 2014, Project Morpheus is designed to be compatible with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Project Morpheus features include a stylish and sleek visor with wide field of view display, 6 degrees of freedom head tracker and a stereoscopic 3D audio output.
Project Morpheus is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2016.
