March 2, 2015 - OSVR and Hacker Dev Kit were announced at GDC 2015
March 25, 2015 - OSVR announced that it will have an optional faceplate with [[Leap Motion]] hardware and software incorporated. This faceplate allows the HMD to accurately track the movement of hands and fingers.
July 6, 2015 - Hacker Dev Kit began to ship.
