[[SteamVR Base Stations]] - the dual Base Stations are part of the laser tracking system of SteamVR. They are placed in the opposite corners of the room , near the ceiling and track the position of your HMD and SteamVR controllers. They are able to track your head and hands with accuracy, low latency and sub-millimeter precision within the 15 by 15 feet space.
