[[NextVR]] is [[virtual reality]] capture and delivery technology [[company]] based in Laguna Beach, California. The company started as Next3D, a 3D TV broadcast technology company. It switched over to [[VR]] in 2012. NextVR is able to capture and transmit live HD, 3D [[VR]] content over the internet, delivering an [[immersive]] and life-like experience. NextVR's system, [[Live VR]], is being tested in sports events and is available on all [[VR Devices]].
After teaming up with Live Nation to stream hundreds of concerts in VR starting in July 2016, NextVR has developed an event truck that can handle the live mixing of [[stereoscopic 3D]] video and [[3D audio]]

[[Live VR]] allows the user to stream live HD, 360 degrees, 3D [[VR]] content over the internet anywhere in the world. Live VR is being tested in sports events with its unique camera solutions. It uses a custom made 360 degrees, stereoscopic 3D camera system composed of multiple RED 6K cameras. The entire setup is worth $180,000.
