The Virtual Boy is an early VR game console developed by Nintendo. It was developed with a monochrome red display which is uncomfortable. It only had a few games made before it was discontinued. It was released in 1995. It was developed without any motion tracking, and required the user to sit still with their head up against the viewer screen.
