==Release and Versions==

Pre-orders for the Vive began on February 29, 2016 for $799. The HTC Vive CV1 released on April 5, 2016, and it comes with the [[head-mounted display]] (HMD), two [[SteamVR Controllers|wireless motion tracked controllers]] and two [[lighthouse]] [[Base Stations]] positional sensors that enable [[room-scale VR]].
