Introduction

Quest 2 is the first of the Oculus headsets to experiment with multi-user support. Though you must have a Facebook account to use an Oculus, you can share that account with 3 people beyond the primary account holder.

Compared to its predecessor, Quest 2 has 50% more pixels, better battery life, faster processing, and a cheaper price. It is also 10% lighter than the Quest, though the controllers are slightly larger.

From a price standpoint, the Quest 2 now competes with other gaming platforms like Switch or some consoles. It is still more expensive than PlayStation's VR headset.

In fact, the Oculus Quest 2 comes with speakers built into the headset, no need for headphones.
