Changes

[[Oculus Social]] is the [[social VR]] [[app]] for [[Oculus Rift(Platform)]]. It allows users to choose avatars, share virtual environments and interact with each other in [[VR]].

The Alpha version of the app was released on October 2728, 2015 for the [[Samsung Gear VR]]. It allowed up to 5 users to watch [[Vimeo]] videos or [[Twitch]] stream together within the [[Oculus Cinema]]. Within the home theatre setting, each user is represented by a head-tracked avatar. Users can watch the videos on the big screen and or turn to their companions for some insightful comments.
