Light field capture seizes all of the information about those rays of light striking . Using the information, you can generate an image that can be viewed from any direction. You can also generate a surface or volumestereoscopic image, an image for each eye to create an 3D effect. For example, imagine an apple in the middle of a room. In [[VR]] With light field capture offers , you can view the apple from any angle, top to bottom and front to back. With regular photography you can only view the apple from one direction.  With these properties, light field capture has great possibilities of in [[Virtual Reality]]. It can be used to create live action , [[VR]] environments and live action VR environments in real time.
