It was the first or one of the first to have the concept of a VR headset that does not take up the user's entire field of vision. The [[Quest Pro]] was largely a copy of its design.
The video passthrough on the Lynx R1 is laggy and not properly registered to the environment.
It was first announced about 2015. The first units only shipped in about the year +2023.
It is an all in one headset.
