Bublcam is a 360° Camera developed by Bubl. In addition to hardware, Bublcam has software technology that lets users easily capture spherical photos and videos without any blind spots. The goal is to give individuals a capable tool for capturing important moments and also to advance the world of VR and pioneer new applications of interactive videos. It captures 14 MP still images and records 1080p video at 15 frames per second or 720p at 30 frames per second. The project was launched on Kickstarter with on November 5, 2013. The initial goal of $100,000 was quickly reached and Bubl has eventually managed to raise $346,122. The Bublcam is priced at $799 USD.

Hardware

The spherical body of Bublcam hides four 190° degrees lenses that are together able to capture 100% of the spherical range in photo and video. Pictures and videos are stored on the built-in MicroSD card or streamed directly to any mobile device. Its LiPo battery takes approximately 2 hours to charge though the included Mini USB 2.0 port.

Software
