Oculus Rift is a series of [[Virtual Reality]] head-mounted displays developed by [[Oculus VR]]. As a [[Virtual Reality#Platforms|Virtual Reality platform]], Oculus produces not only hardware but also an [[#Oculus SDK|SDK]], [[Oculus Share|App Store]], software, [[#Accessories|accessories]] and most importantly a passionate community of developers and enthusiasts. Oculus Rift has released 2 development kits, [[DK1]] in March 29, 2013 and [[DK2]] in July, 2014. The first 2 versions, called Development Kits, are intended for creators and hardcore enthusiasts of [[VR]] content. The third version of Oculus Rift will be a consumer version scheduled for a 2015 release.
